With no knowledge or previous experiences in art, I Miss Lashae Whyte, a Bahamian national has traveled thousands of kilometers in hopes to change that.  I arrived to MTSU at the age of 17 not knowing anyone or anything about the art and design and facing the world alone. What I did know is that I was here to not only obtain a BFA in Graphic Design but also to graduate in May 2022 with knowledge that will stick with me throughout my life. As an International student, with  no experience in the art world, every step or initiative I took was up to me! In just 7 years of coming to the United States of America, I have managed to gain an abundance of knowledge in the design world.
